RealATIS is an informational tool only. It is not a substitute for official ATIS broadcasts, ATC communications, or any FAA-approved weather source.

Always verify weather and airport conditions with ATC or the published ATIS/AWOS frequency before making any flight decisions.

How It Works

RealATIS retrieves airport weather information from publicly available FAA broadcast phone lines. These recordings are automatically transcribed and parsed into structured data. This process is fully automated — no human reviews the output.

Accuracy Disclaimer

Automated transcription and parsing may:

• Mishear or misinterpret words in the broadcast
• Miss fields, remarks, or NOTAMs entirely
• Display incorrect runway, approach, or weather information
• Show stale data if the source broadcast hasn't been updated

We work hard to make the data as accurate as possible, but errors will happen. Never rely solely on RealATIS for go/no-go decisions.

No Warranty

RealATIS is provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any information displayed in the app.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RealATIS and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of this service — including but not limited to decisions made based on information displayed in the app.

You assume all risk associated with using RealATIS data for any purpose, including flight planning and operations.

Your Responsibilities

By using RealATIS, you acknowledge that:

• You are a pilot or aviation professional who understands the limitations of automated weather data
• You will always cross-reference RealATIS data with official sources before flying
• You will not use RealATIS as your sole source of pre-flight weather information
• You accept full responsibility for any decisions made using this service

Audio Recordings

RealATIS may provide playback of recorded ATIS/AWOS broadcasts. These recordings are sourced from publicly available FAA phone lines. Audio quality may vary and recordings may be incomplete.

Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to RealATIS. The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, phone line outages, or other factors outside our control. Airport coverage may vary and not all airports with published phone numbers may be accessible.

Payments & Refunds

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us if you have concerns.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of RealATIS after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
